Scotland, finally

So I wasn't expecting it, but it's extremely difficult to find internet on this island. The places we have been staying have had no internet in the rooms. So it's either a walk down the block on a day when I could actually breath (which were few and far between) or just not get online. It happens.
But this is been quite an exciting experience. I only wish I had been keeping a journal every day of what happens because it's all just one crazy happening after another. Like getting accosted by gypsies in Paris, or butt naked men in Loch Ness hostels.
or the moments when words escaped me, such as seeing Big ben for the first time, coming out of the westminster tube exit and looking up to a symbol of London. Or understanding the enormity of a battle lost in Scotland.
But I still have three papers to write for my london history class, don't even get me started on that nonsense... Then a book review of t.m. Devine's the scottish nation...look it up... yea, about that.I wish I were a better journal-er. Life would be much easier...

697 words....wow, I suck at life. I should have over 3,000 words right now....But I only have 697....Kill me please.
I just...am not inspired at all. Maybe this isn't for me. I mean, I can never keep to one thing, and I know everything I write is so...taciturn and boring compared to even middle schoolers writing an english paper. I mean, It doesn't matter how inspired I may be to write something. It just...doesn't formulate. I don't know why.
Take this thunder storm for intense. Quite inspiring. I even opened a new word document. But as I stared at the blank page you know what I got?
I'll tell you what I got:
"The thunder was incredibly fierce this evening."
wow......how invigorating....not
I mean, if only what I wrote was more like my blog entries, or papers even! I wouldn't be filled with self-loathing. But no...Life doesn't work that way. You see, I must think I have talent...then go about falling in love with something, before realizing my unborn, and still UNCONCEIVED child could write better prose than me. And that is not a joke. I have seen better writing when I read fan fictions about harry potter in middle school! THAT IS NOT A LIE! Not even a modest, wow I'm pissed at my writing right now lie! that is the honest to god truth!
I'm just....too pissed to do anything right now. I don't even think I could go to bed...
SHIT! I forgot my knitting at school!!! NOOOO!! AND MY SUDOKU GAME!!111111111 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
well fuck me.
And on a plus side, I have a crawfish boil tomorrow. My big sis in the sorority's engagement party. How exciting!!! Can't wait! Because by than I will have dispensed my anger and not hate my self so much. Which is always good.

I can not write when I am cold,
so I bought this self heating coffee thing.....It is INGENIOUS! and extreamley yummy! I also bought bubble bath today and slept close to 20 hours (not really) I did however, sleep through my classes on accident. So becasue I spent all day doing other things, I have now until I pass out to write the remaining words for today....I don't think it will be done TODAY, more like: done before I go to sleep early tommorow morning. Which so totally counts!
I'm also very very very tired, and doing everything I can to avoid writing...I even studied math!
I thin I'm ganna take a bubble bath and write in the tub....that sounds nice and relaxing...now the question in:
sandlewood amber OR relax and destress?

New Obsessions

So I have a few new obsessions. One of which is FINDING MY OLD PASSWORDS!!! So I can finally update on here. (my old computer had the password memorized so I wouldn't have to. SO I didn't remember it...sorry.)
Another of which is collecting penguin books Great Ideas, a collection of the most influential essays in history. They are quite fascinating. They have the Social Contract by Rousseau (the book the sparked the french revolution) Hazlitt's On the Pleasure of Hating. I mean, these little books are AMAZING!!!! These are all of the essays that one should read throughout their lifetime.
I'm also looking up all the information I can find on the following:

Chernobyl

Marie Antoinette

The Romanovs

Genetic Memory

The Feticide in Male dominate cultures

and a bunch of other things

If you come across some VERY AWESOME INFORMATIVE articles or websites or anything like that about the above, I will bake you some cookies or something....I don't know, I'll think of something. I just like having the information and all.

Also, I now have a major: Cultural Resource Management.
I'M GOING TO WORK IN A Museum!!! YAY! That is my dream!!!
I also am making a wedding binder. All of my sisters are in love with it and always ask how its coming along. I think I want to become a wedding planner...Like JLO, only with a smaller booty.
Oh, and I'm minoring in creative writing, even though my adviser is an idiot and thinks its a bad idea...moron.
I really need to go to bed though...YIKES!! It's almost one.
I'm going to update my writing of the Silver Crescent, as it is tentatively called right now, than go to bed. I should start typing that up soon....see how long its coming to be. I have six pages so far, handwritten...but still. Right, GOODNIGHT!!!
Lots of Love

a fare few awsome things have happened in the last week.
First: I got a new computer! WHOOH HOO!!!!! It's a new sony vaio, and it's blue, and its amazing!
second: I got my new text books for next year! yay! there so fun! god i'm a loser...
third: AWESOME TAN!
fourth: ECLIPSE CAME OUT AND I FINALLY GOT MY COPY!!!!!!
fifth: I preordered my copy of Libba Bray's new novel the sweet far thing (WHOOOOOO) and also stephenie meyer's new novel that comes oput next year in may, the host, which has nothing to do with twilight...so yay.
sixth: I watched the shoebox project trailer which has a clip from OotP that wasn't EVER seen i'm pretty sure, because i would have seen it, because it involves james potter and snape and the tunnel to the shreking shack. and that makes me excited because i wanna know where it came from...

EDIT: the missing scene that I though was in the shoebox trailer, is actually something a bunch of people made themselves. It's actually really good, it just looked like the guy that plays james potter.

Chapter one of yet untitled long fiction

I have decided that this icon will be my writing icon...becasue neville inspires me...

This is the first chapter of my extreamly sucky, semester long attempt at writing long fiction....its about 21 pages long.......thats not good enough for a chapter, but I was sick of looking at it....I won't lie. Anyway, I think that below the suck, is a good piece of fiction, not to brag, if only one could dig thorugh the many layers of suck to find it....

Corrine was lying in her bed when she heard the crash from the room next door. She was too scared to even move. She was on the edge of sleep, she convinced herself it was her dream, covered her head with her blanket, and went to sleep. She was seven, and all she remembers was her stepmother crying the next morning when the police searched their house. Her sister’s room never changed after that night. After the night Anna-Lynn disappeared.

It was one in the morning when Corrine heard the crash. One-thirty and Corrine was so dead to the world that she didn’t hear Anna-Lynn scream. But her parents did. They made the mistake of going to Corrine’s room first, expecting her to have been the one to scream in the night, being younger and less used to sleeping alone in the new, large house than her sister. That mistake cost seconds. Valuable seconds that could have saved Anna-Lynn’s life, or so Corrine has always thought.

The family had just moved into their house on <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Apegood Street</st1:address></st1:street> a few weeks before Anna-Lynn’s disappearance. The girls had their school supplies all packed and ready to go for the next morning. They had moved to an entirely new state, away from family and friends, for their father’s job. He was a lawyer, one of the most charismatic at the law firm he worked with. When he got a better offer in a state on the other side of the country, Washington to Louisiana, he wanted his children to come with him, promising their mother better opportunities and more money to spend on them. Her parents told her they would be able to buy her and her sister nice things if they went to Louisiana and didn’t put up a fight. It was all they needed to say to two girls brainwashed by Barbie’s pink convertible.

Anna-Lynn was twelve, five years older than Corrine, when she left without a trace. The girls had the two rooms at the back of the house, down a hallway, basically in another side of the house from their parents. Very cool for a twelve year old who was counting away the two years until she started high school. Not so very cool for a seven year old who only wanted to sleep in her parent’s bed. They had a balcony all for themselves, a way to get from one room to the other without going into the hall. When the police figured out she hadn’t run away, they figured that was how anyone would have been able to get to her without the household noticing.

When her father first called the police, after going to Anna-Lynn’s room and finding the window open, the room in a state of array, her missing, the police, despite the obvious signs of a struggle, filed the report as a runaway. Apparently they were common toward the end of summer, and even more common when the student was going to a new school where they didn’t know anyone. But Corrine wanted to tell them they were wrong. Anna-Lynn was more than excited to join the cheerleading squad, she loved meeting new people, and she had begged their parents since the beginning of summer to take her to Wal-Mart for school supplies. The police wouldn’t listen to her, dismissing all of what she had to say as harmless blabber from a seven year old. She was convinced they were in on it some how.

When the police came back, a month later, realizing it wasn’t a runaway when Anna-Lynn didn’t return, they said there wasn’t much they could do. Apparently, the officers originally on the scene didn’t take it seriously enough to collect sufficient evidence, evidence which would have been lost by then. Corrine was convinced the police never intended to find her sister, but cause her family much more grief, and futile hope, than they should have ever experienced.

When her mother heard the news about her eldest daughter being kidnapped, a good two weeks later thanks to the family’s emotional distress, she saw it as a case of both bad parenting and the girls father favoring his new wife to his children. When Corrine’s mother set her mind to set of logic, it was very hard to have her let go of it. She was convinced Corrine’s father was to busy pleasing his wife and that was why it took them so long to realize Anna-Lynn was the one missing. Not even Corrine’s arguing with her could get her to leave her in Louisiana with their father. She went to court and had Corrine on a plane to her house in Washington only a few days later despite Corrine’s absolute dislike of the idea. It took her mother a month to calm her down enough to finally talk to her about what happened.

Corrine’s mother never remarried after getting her daughter to live with her. Convinced that trying to start a new family was why Anna-Lynn ran away, it fit better with her theory of their father’s bad parenting if Anna-Lynn was a runaway; Corrine also thought it might have been easier for her mother to move on by believing that. After spending ten years with the women, ten years of not knowing anything about what happened to her sister that night, Corrine found herself believing the same thing as well. It’s not as though she had anything else to go on. All she remembered from that night was the crashing sound and the blame she felt afterwards. Everything else had been drilled into her head as truth. But then she started to remember. More than remember actually. She began seeing what had happened, as though it were happening right in front of her eyes all over again.

She had fallen asleep in the woods outside of her mother’s three room house again. She didn't know how she always managed to do that. She liked the walks, the peace and tranquility that the Cascade Mountains foot hills offered her. she guess she like it so much she tend to forget where she am and pass out on any comfortable lush of grass she can find. The past few times she’d woken up, however, she can remember that night, as if she were living it again. She could have stopped, whatever had happened that night, from happening. She remembered that now. She could have alerted her father and stepmother to the noises coming from Anna-Lynn’s room long before they heard her. Her sister could be here still if she had, instead of chickening out.

She didn’t run away though. That’s something she saw during this last nap. She didn’t run away at all. She was pulled out of that window, unconscious, and then carried to a waiting car by two bodies. She didn’t know who they were; she couldn’t even tell you their genders or body types. But she did recognize a scent. Something she’d smelt a thousand times before. Something that she couldn’t place. That scent is fading now. She probably couldn’t even tell you its makeup, what it smelt like. It was a woman’s scent though. Lasting on the cloths, though, not the bodies. At least one of the set of cloths had been worn recently by a woman.

That’s something she could never tell her mother though. It would destroy her. That she had been spending all this wasted effort when Anna-Lynn could have been out there alive. She could have been safe, and home, so long ago.

Thank god she had such a long walk back to the house. The tears in her eyes would have been too evident to her mother’s knowing mind. She would have wanted to know what was wrong. She couldn’t know about the dream she had.

When she finally reached the door, she was waiting for her. She had tears in her eyes instead. “Come inside, sweetie.” She never used that kind of terminology. Except for when her imaginary friend ‘died’ when she was eight and she thought she was to old to have one…Her mom was never meant to have kids. After the pallbearers move down the aisle with the casket, of which she was not allowed to go near, peoples head had followed it out of the church. Corrine and her mother were in the last pew in front of the double stained glass doors. As the pallbearers reached them, Corrine looked at their faces, she recognized Brian, the man who told her that her father was dead, and another one was faintly familiar, but she couldn’t place him. He was a man about Brian’s age, which was her father’s age she later found out, he had thinning hair and the blonde had begun turning a slight shade of gray. He was staring at her out of the corner of his eye; he knew she was looking at him too. Corrine quickly shifted her gaze to a third pallbearer. This man was much younger than the other seven. He looked like a much younger Brian. But Corrine didn’t get a chance to observe the rest of the pallbearers before her mother grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the pew.

They came out right before the casket, causing them the pallbearers to stop abruptly, almost dropping it. But her mother didn’t care. Corrine was pulled out of the church without stopping. When they finally reached the car, her mother let her go. “What is wrong with you?” Corrine was sure her exclamation could be heard inside the church, where the doors were still swinging shut.

“Now is not the time to question my actions, Corrine. Just get in the car.” Once the car had been started, Corrine did as her mother told her. Once on the highway, Corrine expected to be heading straight for the airport, which they had just left with barely enough time to make the funeral. But when they finally reached the exit, and passed it, Corrine could not remember being more confused. “Were going to the hotel, to wait for our plane.” Corrine went from confused to shock. She hadn’t been to her old home, nor had she been in touch with her stepmother, Lydia, since she’d moved back to Washington. She missed her stepmother, who for having only known for two years before Anna-Lynn’s disappearance; Corrine became closer to than her real mother.

But Corrine knew how to handle her mother. If she had left the church in a hurry, just to make a flight that doesn’t leave until the next morning, Corrine shouldn’t ask if they could go to the house to see Lydia, it would only upset her mother more than she, obviously, already was. Not wanting to do that, Corrine sat silently in the passenger seat until they reached the two star hotel her mother had reserved the night before while waiting for the plane to leave Seattle.

Once inside the room, sitting on one of the two twin beds, Corrine wanted the time to fly by. Nothing was more torturous than having to sit there while the rest of the people who knew her father were in her old home, mourning him. She wanted to know the people he knew, she wanted to be in one of the last places he’d been. She wanted to be as close to him as she could. Instead she was in a hotel room, waiting for a plane to leave the airport.

Then there was a knock to the door. Her mother, who had been brushing her teeth in the tiny bathroom, came out with the toothbrush hanging out of her mouth with white foam dripping off of it. She looked to Corrine telling her, in a garbled voice, “Get the door!” Corrine got the door, expecting room service to be behind it. Instead, she found Brian, waiting with car keys in his hand.

Corrine could hear the water running and her mother washing her mouth before she yelled, “Who is it?” She came out and when she saw Brian waiting in the doorway, she got angry and rushed toward him, toothbrush in hand. “What do you want? We went to the damn funeral, Brian, what more do you want from her?”

“She should come to the house; Margie made dinner and would really love to see her.” He looked so sad, fraught almost at the idea that Corrine wasn’t going to be allowed to come. “It would mean a lot to Margie of she came.” Corrine noticed that Brian didn’t mention her mother coming with her to see Margie, her mother’s old friend, Brian’s wife. Corrine had not, until this moment, put it together that Brian was the same Brian who was married to her Aunt Margie

Instead of asking about her mother’s lack of being invited, Corrine only turned to give her mother a pleading look. She wanted any chance she could to see Lydia, who must have been to full of grief to handle the guests and funeral goers at the old house. Her mother, admitting defeat, and looking only a little hurt, nodded her head in approval.

Corrine was too curious, but mostly anxious, to see Lydia again. Though she would never admit it, Lydia was a much better mother to her than her own mother. At least what she remembered of living with her step-mother was better than the distance her own mother kept from her. It was as though her own mother had an air of uncertainty when it came to the choices she made while raising her daughter.

Corrine felt a little hesitant about leaving her mother alone in the hotel, with only hours to spare before the plane was scheduled to leave. She was also hesitant to travel alone with this man of whom she barely had any memories, though he had supposedly been a major part of her life until she was seven. Corrine figured that she could get to know her father of the past few years better through Brian. Maybe if she asked him some questions and they talked during the drive to his house she could know what had been going on in her father’s life these past ten years.

As soon as the car was turned on, Corrine blurted out her first question, with no delivery or sentiments. “What did he die from?” She realized that her question did not sound as though it came from the seventeen year daughter who had just outlived her father. Instead of clarifying what she meant, Corrine looked at Brian out of the corner of her eye, to gouge his reaction, and noticed him gripping the steering wheel and, obviously, trying to gab his way into a response.

“Well, there was a lot of stress on his shoulders these…last few years and, well, that was hard for him to handle. He was just very tired a lot, and, well, the doctors agreed that he should have rested more, but they don’t really have an exact thing that they want to tell people so I really couldn’t tell you, Rinny.” He ended his babble very confident and it was obvious that he had come up with that excuse while he was explaining it in a round about way.

Knowing it was probably a subject Corrine probably shouldn’t touch on, despite the fact that she was the daughter of said ‘stressed out’ man, she still felt that Brian held more of a right to knowing what happened to her father than she did. The two men had been friends since childhood, according to her mother at least, and Brian had stuck around when Corrine left with her mother and Anna-Lynn had disappeared. It had been a time when Lance needed more than Lydia to keep him sane.

Brian was hesitant to say any more, probably not knowing what else to say. But he somehow managed to blurt out the words, “I know it’s not much for now, Rinny, but you’ll know soon enough.” He almost looked as though he regretted the words; but he knew that she deserved something. Especially with what he was going to have to tell her soon enough.

When the car finally pulled to a stop outside a small apartment building, Corrine was astounded by how the building did not meet her assumptions about Brian’s home. She had been wrong in this aspect before but not like this. She expected a small little house, maybe two bedrooms and tiny social area. When they began driving into the apartment district, she changed that idea into a five story apartment building with annoying neighbors and maybe a pest problem. Brian didn’t seem the type of man, especially with his battered suit jacket and out of date car, to live in the building they had just parked in front of. But when he opened her door and led her to the front steps, she could hardly help but stagger a bit.

It was two stories, no more than six apartments, three on each half of the building. It was a very nice establishment. The front doors led to a hallway that was a rich red color. It smelt extremely sweet and there was even a chandelier hanging. Corrine felt as though she were walking backstage at a ballet show from the eighteen hundreds. They walked past four doors, two on each side. At the end of the hallway was a set of stairs that she assumed led to the other two apartments. She made to go up, but Brian stopped her with a smile, “that leads to the landlord’s house, he owns the whole second floor up to this wall.” He pointed towards the wall in front of them where two doors were right next to one another. Brian unlocked the one to the left. The door swung in and Corrine truly felt as though she had been thrown back in time.

The furniture was all antique, the staircase in the back of the living room looked as though it belonged in a Victorian house, the paintings, even the one of the family hanging above the fire place, which was also exceptionally old-fashioned, looked as though it had been painted in 1909. The mother, whom Corrine assumed to be her Aunt Margie, wore an early twentieth century styled gown, Brian was dressed to the nines, and he even had a pocket watch chain. The there was the son. He couldn’t have been more than seventeen in the picture. So this must have been an old picture. Looking at him in the picture, Corrine realized why one of the pallbearers looked so much like a younger Brian. It was his son.

Seeing her looking at the picture, Brian tried to lighten the somewhat tense mood, “It’s a few years out of date. We need to get a new one done, but Philip has been so busy lately, working with school and your father, that we haven’t been able to get him to stand still long enough to do so.” Corrine gave a polite chuckle. At least she finally found out who Philip was. Brian continued, in a rambling, nervous, silence filling sort of way. “He’s grown so much since the last time you’d seen him, Rinny. He’s going to come a little later; he’s doing something at your father’s office right now, some client or other. But he promised his mother he would be home for dinner tonight, even if only to see you after so many years. It’s hard to imagine how much you two have grown in the last ten years. How much you have matured.”

He seemed pretty obvious at trying to avoid mentioned why they had matured so much in the last ten years, or why they had grown so far apart. Not as though Corrine and Philip had been such good friends, Corrine barely even remembered Philip. One thing she did remember about him though, now that she began to think about the old times, was that he had never been very kind to her when there were no adults around. Contrary to what all both of their parents believed, Philip was only ever nice to Corrine because he had a school boy crush on her older sister, Anna-Lynn. When Anna-Lynn disappeared-and this was the main thing she remembered about Philip- He blamed her for it. He had even old her, at the memorial service no less, that it was supposed to be Corrine who had disappeared, not Anna-Lynn. Without even bothering to wonder why he would know something like that, Corrine, being the seven year old that she was, immediately blamed herself as well. She didn’t exactly have a soft spot in her heart for what she remembered of Philip.
<p class="MsoNormal" As Corrine sat down to eat with her ‘Aunt’ Margie and ‘Uncle’ Brian, she noticed the tense air that surrounded them.
<p class="MsoNormal" Other than telling her, “Your vibrant eyeliner kept me quite distracted during the services, in a good way of course,” Corrine couldn’t think of any other way to start a conversation. Brian and Margie seemed to have the same idea and decided to shoot for small talk.
<p class="MsoNormal" Brian gave s light, modest, blush at the end of his conversation starter. Corrine wasn’t sure quite how to respond. Should she confirm what he said, or compliment him on his achievement. Though whether that achievement was going to the school or his successfulness at not sounding to full of himself, Corrine wasn’t all too sure about. She decided to ignore his personal history and elaborate on what she was sure her mother hadn’t told him.

“Well, I’m still deciding. I still have a few more months to let them know. I want to go to school on the east coast, I always have, but she’s so set in sending me to USC that I don’t think anything else has crossed her mind.” Corrine stabbed a noodle, this being a slightly tender topic with her as of late.

Aunt Margie smiled at what she was about to say. “Well, I should think she would want to promote her school as much as she could. It does hold some of her most fond memories.” She smiled at Corrine then, “It’s where the four of us,” she gestured to herself and Brian as she said this, “became as close as we were in those early years. If she hadn’t gone there, we would have lost touch, I wouldn’t have met your father in my sociology class that your mother made me take with her. I introduced the two of them, and they hit it off right away. We hadn’t met Brian yet, but they were still only new roommates, hardly knew each other. When your parents began dating, Brian had no one to talk to anymore, and neither did I- your parents had a way of forgetting the world when they were together-the two of us began dating as well, but I’m sure you don’t want to hear about that.” She took a bite of spaghetti, and gradually began to look more forlorn with every chew that she made. “It’s such a shame that it had to end the way it did.” Brian cast Margie a quick glance and Corrine could tell her tried to kick his wife’s leg from under the table; this was because he kicked the table leg instead. “For her to become friends with those people, she began to get all weird and sunk into her own little world. That was when they divorced. I still can’t believe she would-” She broke off suddenly, when she was about to share her opinion with her husband she glanced his way, only to catch his meaningful glare. She then realized she was giving away too much information. Information she probably shouldn’t even know. Something her husband was just now realizing. She gave an innocent smile and picked up her plate. “Is anyone else finished? I’ll take the dishes if you are.” All she got was an empty glass that Brian asked her to refill. They had only sat down for dinner not even ten minutes before.

Corrine was now curious, she didn’t remember her parents divorce; as long as she could remember, Lydia had been her stepmother. She had once even suspected that her father was remarried before she was even born. “I don’t remember much of their divorce. My mother never talks to me about it and I don’t remember anything my father, or Lydia for that matter, ever told me about it. I know this is awkward, my asking you about this after barely remembering you, but if you don’t mind… Why did they get divorced?”

Brian was out of his chair in such a flash that it teetered on its legs before coming to rest. He had his plate in his hand and was muttering that it had gotten cold, but Corrine could see the breaths of steam rising from the still warm spaghetti; apparently he didn’t remember her to be very observant.

As she sat in the dining room, staring at her plate of spaghetti, Corrine picked up her fork and began poking at the red sauce covered noodles. She was curious as to what they had been talking about. Why couldn’t they tell her what was going on? Corrine knew that she had no right to demand anything from people she had just met, and whom she barely remembered, but she deserved to know.

Corrine could feel her throat closing up, and the backs of her eyes prickled with the sensation of tears. She was frustrated, and it was causing her to cry. She had always been easily flustered. She could never hide her feelings; and she was about to prove her expertise at wearing her heart on her sleeve when she heard the clanking of plates coming from the kitchen. She knew she couldn’t show these people how much they were affecting her. She grabbed the light jacket she had worn over and prayed the door was unlocked.

When she reached the door, her prayer had been answered. She flew it open, and didn’t bother catching it as it began to swing closed behind her. By the time it hit the frame, Corrine was already opening the entrance door at the end of the hall. She was out of the parking lot by the time her Aunt Margie came out of the kitchen with a new smile and an apple pie.
<p class="MsoNormal" She didn’t remember the city very well, but she didn’t need to. She went with gut feelings about streets and corners, without regard for the course it was taking her along.

As the rain began to pour down in giant droplets, Corrine quickly lost the ability to see in front of her. She needed to find shelter and fast, before she walked into oncoming traffic or something even worse. When that realization entered her mind, Corrine saw a familiar sign shining through the downpour.

She didn’t know what it was familiar to it, but something about it. Maybe it was the purple and green colors that made up a flower with the words “Flora’s Café” in elegant script underneath. In fact, Corrine knew that was what was so familiar to her. Again following her gut feelings, Corrine ran to the café just as an extremely loud thunder clap reached her ears.

Running into the café was supposed to be a haven from the storm raging outside, instead, there was an even bigger storm brewing inside. Corrine wasn’t sure what had been going on before she walked in; but everyone, the five customers all of whom were shockingly dry as though they had been inside all day, was staring at the counter where a man was at the bar talking to the waitress. Until the door shut behind Corrine ringing a delayed bell system. That was when the five customers swung their glances towards her, with the glairs of people whose eavesdropping had just been interrupted.

The waitress turned a welcoming, but awkward, smile towards Corrine, but the man merely glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, stiffened, and turned away.

Corrine put her head down and walked towards an empty table in front of the window. When the waitress came over to ask for her order, Corrine asked if it was okay to wait there while until the rain stopped. The waitress looked hesitant, “You’re really not supposed to stay unless you’re ordering, but I’ll get you a glass of water. There free!” Corrine suspected it was because she had taken the attention off the waitress and the man at the counter that the waitress was being so nice to her.

After looking around the room and noticing everyone was staring at her, Corrine awkwardly nodded her head to the woman’s offering. “I’ll be right back out with that than.” As the waitress passed the man at the counter, Corrine heard her whisper, “We’ll talk about it later, you should go home, there probably waiting for you.” But he grabbed her arm before she could pass.

“And I told you that I didn’t care, we’re finishing this now.”

The waitress looked exasperated with his obvious stubbornness, “Philip, go home!” She wrenched her arm out of his grip than went behind a door to the back of the café.

I would also like to point out that I have a document called Chem Chart right under the file this was saved as and that upon opening it, I had no idea what it was from, even though I knew the may have taken a test on it.

also, does anyone know how to do the quote box thing on here? becasue I sure as hell don't, and would really like to kow how to do that because it looks like it would be cool

me and laura went to see hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy last night....it was the first movie I saw at the show in MONTHS! Literally. You see, this is because, since I left AJ, I have lost contact with most aj-ers, and gained no real friends who would want to invite me somewhere with them at ash....Good thing I have internet...Otherwise I probably would have killed myself by now.

Also...I made a new icon...ITS MARVIN!

So. Friday night there was a Walkmen concert right? Well, my freind is cousin to the basist, so she invited me to go with them to the concert cuz she knows I am OBSESSED with the walkmen! So I go home with them, and they say how it's at Twi Ro Pa...The MOST AWSOME club in the wearhouse district!!!! And where all of my friends have been trying to get into for months! Well, guess who got in, yet was under 21 because they knew the band. HELL YEA!! ME! SO That was the singulart most awsome night of my life. There like: Hi I'm this person' and I'm like: 'hello...." Must have thought I was nuts...well, we got free t-shirts, bumper stikers, and those things you iron onto your shirt...I wore my 'drink apple juice, cuz OJ will kill you' shirt....I took alot of pictures from where I was at.....You wanna know where?
RIGHT NEXT TO TEH STAGE!! As in, 'oh, my legs hurt, let me rest by SITTING ON THE STAGE!' There was also this reallly nice looking guy that I had a gut feeling about. Well, I took his picture, so I could show laura. Also, when I get my pictures developed (my digital is broken) i'll copy them onto here. ALSO! Peter (bassist) said to send them to him, and they will put them on the website! OMG!!! How awsome is that???? Go to there website www.thewalkmen.com for more info bout them...

well, last night at mnidnight I had my brother open up his shop for laura so I could buy her her birthday present. But he didn't have any plugs so I told her that going there was her birthday present. and she 'OKAY!' she was so happy to meet him! lol!!
